Great 8 peice lineup harks back to the Big Band Era

Jimmie Sloggett first came to taste November 3rd 2007 that time with just a four piece, featuring pictured below from left to right Donna Miles on piano, Jimmie on Sax, Rocky Rochelli on drums & Ray Campbell on Bass.

Jimmy-solo.jpg   Jimmie returned on May 24th. 2008 with a bigger 8 piece lineup Jimmie formed a musical relationship with bass player Ray Campbell back in the Johnny O’Keefe days,  Ray joined Jimmie on the taste Canowindra gig and both teamed up with  a clutch other Orange musical luminaries - on drums Rocky Rochelli -wife vocalist Cecelia - plus “The Brass Monks” father & son team Bobby Arnold (trombone) & Jake Arnold (trumpet). Jimmie, Bobby & Jake were all taught by Jimmie’s father Harry Sloggett. Piano player Lance Martin from Parkes gave the show a genuine regional flavour. Ross Sampson on conga's & Harmonica was a late addition.
