Program of Events

Friday 24 September 2-10pm and Saturday 25 10am – 6pm. Canowindra Show featuring the best of local primary, agricultural and horticultural produce. Many special attractions as well as railway themed categories in photography, art, vegetable, Lego models. Railway Centenary souvenirs and publications will also be on sale.

The Age of Fishes Museum displaying and interpreting a highly significant collection of 360 million year old Devonian fish fossils found locally by a bulldozer driver.

Canowindra Historical Society Museum depicting Canowindra’s development from the 1840s through an eclectic collection of textiles, vintage farm machinery, household memorabilia and relocated slab buildings.

As a result of the recent fire, which destroyed the Canowindra Services Club and impacted on the adjacent function centre and facilities, venues and timing for some events are subject to change.
