Huge red gum slab for sale

This huge red gum slab (pictured) 4.4 metres long 1.7 metres wide at one end and 1.5 metres wide at the other is offered for sale. The slab has very few imperfections and cracks and those it has have been filled. The slab has been sanded down (120 grit) and rough edges taken off the natural edges. The smaller inset image is of the grain detail when wet to give an indication of appearance when finished with oil or estapol. It is offered to website visitors on a first come first served basis for $2200 before being offered on the net more widely with a reserve of $2750. The picture below was taken prior to its final finishing sand. We have never seen a slab of this size with so few imperfection in soucing redgum for ourselves or clients in the past 5 years. It will need to be picked up from Canowindra with a tandem (double axle) trailer.
