Hi there everyone,
Folk@Canowindra goes into
recess over Christmas and returns in 2012 next session 4pm
Sunday Jan. 29th with the Open mike.
November 27 was the last gathering for 2011 for folk@canowindra!
It has
been an excellent year of music. The quality of music and poetry
has been excellent, from both feature acts and the open mike.
How wonderful was guest Indie-Folk artist Hannah Sunderland.
Incredible to see her develop she was writing songs in earnest
during the 3 years she lived in Canowindra. Based now in Newcastle,
she has recently finished work on her first studio EP with the help
and guidance of Mike McCarthy. She is hoping for an official
release in early 2012. You can hear some of Hannah's BRAND new EP

Many of our most impressive artists who have performed through
the year came to the last session it was awesome! Too much was too
good to single anyone out! Thanks to all those who've attended
through the year and who turned up in force to pack out our last
session.
