Valanga Khoza - theatre restaurant evening.
Valanga Khoza was born in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
He grew up in a traditional setting surrounded by lively
singing,
drumming and dancing. The Limpopo area is rich in traditional
healers, orators and storytellers, highly respected throughout
Africa. These were his neighbours. Their nightly ceremonies carried
songs and rhythms passed down through thousands of years. Valanga
carries these influences through his songs and storytelling.
Valanga travels regularly to South Africa where they immerse
themselves in the music and culture of today.

KarismaKatz core members are Christo Carlsen and DJ Gosper.
Christo plays guitars and sings. DJ sings and play harmonica. They
are one of Canberra's hardest working groups, performing as a duo
and at times a trio their debut CD 'Spirit On The Rise' comprises
14 original songs.
The repertoire ranges from acoustic originals, to Jazz standards
and blues. KarismaKatz were recently the chosen entertainment for
the Canberra Wine, Roses & All That Jazz Festival playing for
the event’s Media and Public Launches in Canberra and Sydney, as
well as at wineries throughout the event.

Their music has a life of it’s own, highly original, but somehow it
seems so familiar, as it draws upon rich, deep cultural veins. Some
of which have been choreographed for shows featuring classical
ballet and pole dancing.
2swing have played regularly in and around Sydney at the Basement,
Soup Plus, The Vanguard, The Opera Bar, Sydney Town Hall. They
caused a sensation at last years Dubbo Jazz Festival. Both members
also play together in the sensational world music act Arabesk’.
